One family had a surprise visitor Wednesday morning after a driver blacks out and runs her car into their house.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. on John Adams Parkway in Idaho Falls.
The police officer on scene says the driver, Billie Baggs, wasn't feeling well. She attempted to pull off the road and park, but the next thing she knew she was waking up from a blackout and her car was smashed up against a garage.
The home didn't suffer major damage, because she wasn't driving very fast.
Joshua Siqueiros says he was watching TV when he heard a loud sound outside, looked out and saw the car and a very confused driver.
Joshua Siqueiros: "I just asked her if she was okay and she said she was fine. Once I found out she was okay we called the ambulance and the police to make sure she got checked out- that was the first thing we did was make sure she was alright. Yeah, it could have been worse. They nicked my garage. I'm hoping I'll be able to get my garage open to go to work but other than that it wasn't too bad."
The driver was not cited, and she apologized to the homeowner and told him the repairs will be paid through her insurance company.
