The search for a suspicious man who was taking pictures at a Pocatello park has ended.
On Monday evening law enforcement alerted the public about a suspicious man near Ammon Park in Pocatello.
Witnesses say the unidentified man was taking pictures of children, and when confronted he fled the scene. Police say the man contacted them Tuesday afternoon to say he was at the park taking pictures of his grandson.
The man also told police that he fled the scene to avoid a confrontation with an angry parent at the park.
Authorities tell KPVI News 6 that his story has been confirmed.
