The games will be held the 6th through the 13rd of July. 
• The games are endorsed by the Idaho Governor’s Council and Physical Fitness and Sports and belong to the U.S. National Senior Games Organization.  The goal is to provide participants 50 years of age of better with the opportunities for competition, fun and camaraderie at state levels, thereby contributing to the physical, mental and emotional well being of individuals. 

• We have 31 venues and 230 events.  There is something for everyone to participate in.  The events are:  archery, basketball, billiards, bocce ball , bowling, bridge, chess, croquet, cycling, dance,  disc golf, Fun Run/Walk (Every age can compete),  golf, various cards games, horseshoes, mini-golf,  mountain bike, pentathlon, pickle ball, racquetball, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, triathlon, tennis, track and field.  Some of our events

• On July 8th the Opening Ceremony will be held at O.K. Ward Park where there will be the presentation of the Stat/Country Flags, the Lighting of the cauldron by members of the community.  There will be entertainment, dinner and the welcoming of the athletes.  If you wish to join us for dinner, please contact the Senior Games Office at 233-2034.
