From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., residents are invited to grab their tubes, kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards and join in the Poky Portneuf Paddle. At the event, attendees are invited to float the Portneuf River from Taysom Rotary Park to Centennial Park. More experienced floaters can float from the Edson Fichter Nature Area to Centennial Park. Free shuttle service between the parks will be available. Centennial Park will have food trucks, a band, and commercial booths, as well as an information booth where you can enter one of the 4 contest of the event: best sandal tan lines, oldest floater, largest flotilla, or best costume/decorated boat.
