The 12th annual Wine, Eats, and Artifacts fundraiser is going virtual! Hosted by the Foundation for Idaho History and Idaho State Historical Society, the event aims to raise funds to support the restoration and repair of Guard Tower 1 at the Old Idaho Penitentiary.

The Old Idaho Penitentiary opened its doors in 1872 to some of the West's most notorious criminals. Guard Tower 1, which faces Old Penitentiary Road on the northwest corner of the prison, was built in 1894. One hundred and twenty-six years of the elements and occasional vandalism have severely damaged the structure.  Help us restore and preserve this iconic piece of Idaho's history. Register now to be eligible to win a $100 Amazon gift card and join us for the live virtual event on Thursday, September 17, at 6 pm (MDT) / 5pm (PDT) and save the tower!
