The Trio Veterans Program at Idaho State University is looking for veterans to send back to school.

The program is a free educational opportunity for veterans.

They assist veterans in preparing to go to college to pursue a bachelor’s or associates degree, advanced technical certificate or any higher education institution.

They also assist with financial aid, admission applications, academic assessment, tutoring, career planning and referrals to additional college and community resources.

The Trio Veterans recruiter says they are holding an event at ‘Wanderlust Craft, Beer & Wine’ on July 3rd to meet with veterans and talk to them about the program.

“And the diverse skills that they already have, we can help them transition those into civilian life and help us continue the growth of their path, whether it’s here in Pocatello or anywhere in the U.S and help them also become those leaders,” says Omar Raudez, Trio Veterans Program Recruiter and Advisor.

The event at ‘Wanderlust Craft Beer & Wine’ will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 3rd.
