A group of local vendors are banding together to bring the ‘Fair Food’ experience to the area.

The East Idaho Fair Food Tour will kick off this Thursday with a variety of local vendors at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds in the central area.

Organizers of the food tour say that all food vendors will be set-up with their perspective food trucks and spread out for social distancing while bringing a variety of food for the public to enjoy these famous fair foods of summer.

The vendors have already participated in other events this summer and they say they are abiding by the health and safety protocols which were approved and considered ‘take out businesses.’

“Since things have changed, if we don’t change as vendors how we do things then you know we’re not going to be successful and everybody wants to be successful and so I think the important thing is you have to innovate.  You have to be creative and you’ve got to find a way and means to facilitate those things so you can continue those family traditions of having those fun summertime activities,” says Richard Johnson, Owner, Mexican Crazy Corn.
