Hooligans Pub

A local bar is doing a fundraiser this weekend.

On Saturday, all money raised at Hooligans Pub in Pocatello is being donated to a good cause.

Arik Mayer is a local 19-year-old from Pocatello who was recently diagnosed with stage four throat cancer.  All day on Saturday, Hooligans have giveaways and be passing out Hooligans gear, and will have a live band playing at 10:00p.m.

All of the money raise at Hooligans on Saturday will be donated to Arik Mayer and his treatment.  Evan Pruett, the owner of Hooligans, decided to hold this fundraiser to help Arik with medical expenses.

“It is going to be a great thing,” explains Pruett, “I like giving back to the community, especially when it is things like this that we can help. Especially a young kid like that where all of the help and the community can come together and give him would be great.”

A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help Arik with medical costs and cost of travel to get treatment. You can click the link here.
