PAC Jiu-Jitsu is a gym in Rexburg that has partnered with the Adopt-a-Cop program.

This allows law enforcement to go through a special training that is beneficial in the field. It’s non- violent. That, along with skills that allow for control make it ideal for many situations police are in.

Jiu Jitsu is one of the best methods of training for law enforcement,” says gym owner Amanda Payne, “going back to the idea of being able to control and carefully and safely take care of this other person. Whether they are having an issue with mental health or perhaps they are upset about something happening or in the event of a criminal issue you still need to be able to safely control the situation.”

The gym is located in Rexburg and information can be found at pacjiujitsu.com.
