Local Organization Receives Large Donation

The Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency received a large donation this week.

The Marathon Petroleum Corporation gave SEICAA a $10,000 dollar donation on Wednesday.

The donation assists with SEICAA in its COVID-19 relief efforts.

SEICAA says this helps in the support of their mission to help lift community members out of poverty.

“This donation is going to help us to continue helping the families that we serve that have been affected by COVID, you know, job loss, layoffs, you know, we’ll be able to use those funds to help ensure that families have the necessary access for their kids to engage in these remote learning styles and or be able to help them with maybe some tutoring services to make sure that their children are prepared to keep progressing in their educational careers,” says Shantay Bloxham, CEO, Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency.

SEICAA wants to thank Marathon Petroleum for their generous donation and trusting in their organization to make sure they are equipped with the tools and resources they need to rise to the needs of their communities.
