Friday, in a capacity-filled room, the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District 25 Board of Trustees voted to address concerns that a meeting held earlier in the week violated Idaho’s Open Meeting laws.
The school’s legal council brought this to the board’s attention in which concerned a vote take to adopt the school district’s Roadmap for the 2021-2022 School Year. A vote to adopt the wearing of masks and face covering to begin on Monday, September 27 was also taken.
The board acknowledged a perceived violation of Idaho’s open meeting law from Tuesday’s meeting and voted unanimously to make the actions taken at that meeting null and void.
The meeting lasted just under four minutes and ended in applause from those gathered inside the room.
