In light of National Nutrition Month, The Idaho Foodbank is beginning its One Million Meals in March Campaign.

The main point of the campaign is to increase the amount of food and donations statewide during the month of March to provide more Idahoans with food that will pass their goal of one million meals.

Locally, Southern Idaho Honda Dealers are helping The Idaho Foodbank reach their goal by offering a $20,000 donation match which equates to 200,000 meals and Pebble Creek Ski Area is offering $30 all day ski passes if you bring three canned food items or make a donation on any Tuesday in March.

Jonna Boote, Development Coordinator at The Idaho Foodbank, Eastern Idaho Branch said, "We're really excited about this campaign because it's a great way to bring awareness to the fact that hunger doesn't happen during just the holidays it's something that happens year round and this is just a great way to bring that to the forefront and say 'hey we do still need your help.'

You can get involved in the campaign by donating food to the Eastern Idaho Branch in Pocatello or go online to to donate and find out more information.
